It arrived more quickly than expected, and looking new. It is a clearly written text, giving examples, and outlining all needed to accomplish tasks.

Wow! What a terrifically useful book! The book is set out logically and has both a comprehensive index and a useful table of contents. Each stage of the different tasks being shown throughout the book is accompanied by a small "Pro Tips" note to help add that extra little touch to the job to make it that little bit better or easier.

Renovations is a great book for the advanced do-it-your selfer. I've got a whole library of the do-it-yourself genre but this was one of the best i've found. Coverage on many of the technical areas from load bearing walls, insulation, electrical, drywall. If you are a weekend-warrior and are facing a larger than normal project, this is the best of breed reference book.

Great!Great!Great! Did I mention this is a great book! For starters this book is like a Textbook. Hardbound, great chapters, easy to read. This book is bar none the best home improvement book I have ever spent money on!

I reviewed a lot of home improvement books and finally decided on this one. I already own a number of similar volumes, but this one is by far the best. This is clearly based on expert feedback. It highlights frequent errors to avoid and important shortcuts and reminders. Every do-it-yourselfer should own this.
