I'll make this short and simple. I was 7 years old when Annie hit the big screen, it was instantly my favorite. I got the record, my grandma made me all the dresses from Annie dress patterns. I was in my own little Annie world for years and loved every moment. I always go back to the Annie songs from 1982, I've heard others, but in my opinion they don't even compare to the Annie that I first heard.

This is the version with Carol Burnett and not Kathy Bates as Miss Hanegan so the songs sound different.

My 6 year old daughter loves this soundtrack. It keeps her moving, and she likes to do the choreography while she learns the songs.
